Come join the Twisters excitement! We are an elite competition cheer program located in Denver, NC. Our participants range in age from 5 years old and up. We are made up of Twinkle, Youth, Junior, Senior and Open coed competition cheer teams. Our cheer program is home to boys and girls from five different counties. Twisters All-Stars is beginning it's second season with much pride in our first year accomplishments! In our premier season, our teams won several first, second and third place regional competitions along with tumbling awards. We qualified for three different national events and our teams finished fourth and fifth at Canam International Cheer Competition at Myrtle Beach, SC in 2002.
In addition to our coed cheer teams, Twisters All-Stars offers partner team, stunt team, and individual compitition for our members. It's an exciting time to be in All-Star Cheerleading and there is no finer place to be the with the Twisters All-Stars. Our program provides a safe, solid, positive atmospherefor children to learn. Our staff is the best in the area and are all saftey certified with USA Gymnastics. Our director, Jama Mulkey, has nineteen years of cheer experiencewith nine years coaching experience. She has been coaching All-Star Cheerleading for five years. Jama has numerous local and regional championships to her credit, as well as, numerous bids to nations and a National All-Star Championship. Jama works very closely with her teams, their parents, and her coaches to assure a quality program. Jenny Mulkey, our junior team coach, has nine years cheer experience with one year coaching All-Star Cheerleading. Jenny has been a member of two National Championship teams and one International Championship team. In addition to her coaching, Jenny competes with her high school team as well as Twisters All-Star team. She has several local and regional championshipsin Individual Cheer and has also competednationally in Individual Cheer. Jenny has also competed in All-Star Dance competition and placed second and third in National All-Star Dance Competition.
